Are the carers Garda Vetted?

Yes, all our carers are Garda Vetted once they register with Royal Homecare.

Is there a trial period and what happens if things don’t work out?

Absolutely. We have a 4 week trial period for all service contracts. In the event that a carer terminates, or the Client terminates employment within 4 weeks of the specified date upon which such carer commenced work with the Client, we will endeavor to seek a replacement at no extra cost to the Client. If unsuccessful in finding a replacement, Royal Homecare will pay the Client a refund against the placement fee paid as follows:

  • Up to 2 weeks service 50% refund

  • 3-4 weeks service 25% refund

Can I claim any tax back on the costs?

Yes, you will be able to claim up to 40% on the costs if your relative is incapacitated.

Are there any discounts if I hire 2 carers?

Yes, if you hire two carers from Royal Homecare, you will receive 50% off the second placement fee.

What supports are available to me from Royal Homecare?

From the moment you submit your application, Royal Homecare will ensure that you are fully supported with frequent communication and updates each week until a carer has been placed.

Once you have hired the carer, the support does not stop there. Our team will keep in regular contact with you and the carer(s) to find out how everything is going. You can call us anytime and we will strive to resolve any issues that you may have.
